I'm not well informed about the individuals there.

But it's clear that the DLC as an organisation is pushing RW policies against the interest of dem voters. In the end it is individuals who do the pushing. Presumably an actual DLC member is more suspect then someone "with ties to" the DLC.

Ideally any purging would be by means of the democratic process, possible only once corporate control over the media has been eliminated. With an independent press the people would be well informed so they'd know who to vote for to represent their interests as opposed to corporate interests.
