She is the epitome of the most reliably liberal/progressive wing of the Democratic party. I assumed that people here were sophisticated enough to realize that the concept of Boxer as DINO/DLC was at the very least absurd. It would naturally follow that I (the author of the thread) was being sarcastic.

In other words, my sarcasm was hardly "veiled".

I'm sorry that you do not appreciate my attempt at pointing out how some posters here cannibilize Democrats. I actually like Democrats-thats why I come to Democratic Underground: to discuss them, not to denigrate and belittle them.

Again, sorry you didn't like the thread. Not everyone appreciates the same approach. I, myself, am rarely unnecessarily rude and abrasive to total strangers.
