41. Mel Gibson is nutty
and I am a bit surprised he actually admitted to liking the film, but I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

I'm also not surprised that he pulled the funding out of F9/11. He probably realized that there would be problems with the fundies goin out to see it if they realized he funded F 9/11.

Now that Passion has made a ton of money, he probably feels the luxury to say he really doesn't give a shit. He's laughing all the way to the bank. Fine with me.

I remember reading a strange interview with him during the Clinton years. He was absolutely nuts. He was going on about black helicopters, and he ripped on not only Clinton, but Bush Sr. as well.

And he made several homophobic statements. He's just plain nuts.

But he's entertaining as a film maker and I don't think he's a bad actor. I wasn't all that impressed with the Passion though. I just didn't think it was that great a movie.

I am happy that he threw this curve ball to the freepers. It keeps them as paranoid as ever. Good for Gibson for not being lock in step.
