Advertisements [?]
-Israelis of Iraqi origin are eligible to vote
-noone knows who has drawn up the electoral lists
-where the external votes will be counted and by whom and under what independent monitoring body is unannounced and unknown
-registration for Iraqi immigrants has begun in 14 countries including Australia, Jordan, France, Germany and the US.
-borders will be closed, automobile traffic prohibited, phones disconnected. mobiles rendered useless
-the majority of officials who claim to be monitors will probably be based in neighboring Jordan, "Even though there is value to electoral observation in the visual sense of visiting polls and so on, I've always said if I had my druthers I'd rather be doing this type of thing," said Canada's chief electoral officer Jean-Pierre Kingsley.
