2. Turn blue into red in just nine steps! Arnolds plan...
Step 1 - replace Democratic governor with movie star/novice politician - done
Step 2 - replace Democratic Secretary of State with republican - done
Step 3 - allow paperless, unverifiable voting machines - in progress
Step 4 - circumvent state legislature with special elections - in progress
Step 5 - inundate California TV stations with pro-schwarzenegger and anti-legislature commercials, claiming that the legislature can't fix the deficit "because they created it" - done
Step 6 - stage series of publicity stunts, for example purposely making a new pothole then staging a photo-op of it being filled - done
Step 7 - uh-oh, the teacher's unions, nurses' unions and Indian tribes are fighting back with blitzes of TV commercials of their own. Emergency step: demonize all 3 of these groups as "special interests" and say you're going to "kick their ass" to roaring applause of hand-picked audience - done
Step 8 - Address issue of plummeting approval ratings in California - someone get to work on this, now.
Step 9 - Render majority of voters, state legislature, and state constitution moot, powerless and irrelevant - in progress
