Miers nomination is purely partisan

Miers has worked for Bush for many years. (She thinks he's the most brilliant man she knows!!!!!!!!!) She knows how he would want her to vote on every issue, I'm sure. If she is accepted as a Supreme Court Justice, it would be just like having a mini-Bush on the court. I think it would be impossible for her to vote against Bush's desired outcome and it would be INSANE for any Democrat to vote for her admission as such.
