I lost one of my all time favorite kitties (I have loved them all, of course) in a similar and devastating way.

And I've lost others.

I had a lovely blue point Siamese companion for 23 years, lived with her longer than any human being.

It is never easy.

They have a virtual candle ceremony Monday night. I went to it once and it was very healing, to be in virtual space with others going through the same thing.
