...an early age, (10). I long ago got tired of sitting around on cold mornings trying to
sneak up on deer. But I did spend some time hunting squirrels, dove and quail. THE first and FOREMOST rule of hunting is KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SHOOTING AT! It is no excuse that deadeye dick was staring into the sun, his target was in a gully, whatever. You do not pull the trigger unless you KNOW what you are shooting at. This is NOT war. It is sport.

I sincerely doubt that Cheney, et al, ate quail on Sunday. It really does not taste all that good. Pheaseant does, and dove does, cooked appropriately.

He should be prosecuted as would any hunter in Texas, however he is one of the people who are above the law, so he will get off scot free.

...there are ways to make him pay, but I'll leave that to the Whittington's to explore...
