just like he warned what would happen if we went to Iraq....Wes Clark presciently stated would be the result of an Iraq Invasion back in September of 2002, and which Paul Wellstone felt compeled to include in his own statement against the Iraq War (giving Clark full attribution--of course!).
"But as General Wes Clark, former Supreme Commander of Allied Forces in Europe has recently noted, a premature go-it-alone invasion of Iraq "would super-charge recruiting for Al Qaida."
