thing. Their Republican colleagues won't do it and perhaps getting some love - regardless from where - will encourage them to do it more often. Democrats need to help Republican moderates take back their party - a Democratic majority can get a lot done with the help of a strong liberal/moderate Republican wing - as we did in the 1960s on civil rights.
