I'm looking, again, for the over simplification of the Saddam verdict, starting with "we all know that he's an evil person." (in this instance I'm referring to Saddam instead of gwb)
The wide eyed, innocent protests of how could we DU'ers possibly want anything less than death for Saddam? (BTW, where's Osama?)
The concern that if we remark on the sham trial and the whole Iraq debacle, we could appear as Saddam supporters and weak on (pick one) war, terrorism or national defense.
Newbies and lurkers will chastise us not to appear overly upset that our government orchestrated this lunacy, of which this trial and verdict are part and parcel.
We will be encouraged to cheer this "good" news.
My personal philosophy...attempt honest debate, and, if that doesn't work, ignore.
It's going to be lively today, mon amis. MKJ
