He is here to endorse Kirsten in her bid to unseat embattled incumbent John Sweeney. Latest public polls have her narrowing leading Sweeney, who is pinned under a cloud of ethical scandal this week. General Clark called for DefSec Rumsfeld to do more than "submit" his resignation to the President, but rather "to just resign". Kirsten and her husband John "have sacrficed alot to make this run" the General said, "and I am grateful because we need you serving in office."
