2. I wouldn't go by that.
Here in my little section of Monmouth County New Jersey, I've seen loads of Democrats Holt, Pallone and Menendez signs but very few signs for Republicans, including Kean (the exception being of course local candidates).

Has the GOP given up on our very Republican section of Monmouth County? Probably not. Holt and Pallone are safe seats for the Democrats it's understandable that the Republicans aren't making much of an effort there but I'm sort of suprised to see so few Kean signs.
