Are we a freakin' Banana Republic or the damned United States of America?!?!?!

I could have written the most elaborate and kick-ass e-voting system in the last 6 years and put it on rock-solid hardware, all with open-source. I've been programming for 20 years now. An e-voting system is just not that difficult.

BUT, we all know that getting a program to work properly isn't really what the One-Party Rulers of this nation want to have happen, is it?

NO!

They much more prefer the chaos that has occurred in various parts of the country that have had the effect of suppressing tens of thousands of votes (such as the system problems in heavily Democratic Cuyahoga county).

We NEED a Federal Election Holiday Weekend and we NEED completely OPEN-SOURCE software developed BY the gov't, not outside vendors and we NEED Federal/State/Local legislation requiring accessible paper ballots in EACH precinct for ANY voter that doesn't want to use an electronic voting system!

And we need this when??

RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!
