fudged the facts. CNN had raked F9/11 over the coals, and it turned out that Moore was right. He was just trying to be as nit picky as they have been over his movies. He wanted to get the first strikes in, and he didn't want to give them an inch.
BTW, it's been posted here that Gupta had the real facts before the piece was put together and before the interview. He chose to ignore them.
