4. Ultimately, he's doomed because he has cancer.
It may not be fatal for him, but it will be for his campaign, even if he becomes their nominee. America is not going to hire a sick old man with no significant achievements and a reputation for laziness. Fred really missed his chance--the time for him to run was in 2000, when our country didn't fully realize just how important the office was, and image and personality would have been enough. Even Republicans are now smarting from the disaster of the Chimp Presidency. They'll go with Rudy, or Mittens--both are healthier, scrappy, full of energy, and have more of a record of accomplishment.
