30. I can't find a more simple way to explain this to you but I'll try

You know - candidates when they run for office usually have a plan for the issues facing our country?
Obama has an event planned tomorrow to announce what his plan is to get us out of Iraq. Every candidate should have one.
Tomorrow is 9/12.

Today Obama said that we should not be talking about Iraq on 9/10 - 9/11 - 9/12.

But before he said that today, he announced that he was going to tell us his plan for Iraq on 9/12 at a campaign stop in Iowa.
He is going to be talking about Iraq during one of the days he said we shouldn't be talking about it.

His Plan for Iraq has nothing to do with questioning Petraeus and Crocker today. His Plan for Iraq is so people will
vote for him for President. The hearing today was a report from Petraeus and Crocker on Iraq. It had nothing to do with the fact that Obama wants to be President.

Obama made a statement today that directly contradicts what his plans are for tomorrow.

I cannot explain it any simpler than that.
