Hillary Clinton is Ready to Lead
The Clinton campaign today announced the endorsement of six Southern Nevada community leaders: Las Vegas entertainment legends Siegfried & Roy, staffing executive Cornelius Eason, former Mesquite City Councilwoman Donna Fairchild, Las Vegas Township Constable Robert "Bobby G" Gronauer and gaming executive Thom Reilly.
"The endorsement of these outstanding Nevadans demonstrates the broad appeal of Hillary Clinton's positive message of change," said Clinton Nevada Chair Rory Reid. "From civic officials and business leaders to entertainment icons and philanthropists, Nevadans know that Hillary has the strength and experience to lead our nation in the right direction from day one."
In their three-plus decades in Las Vegas , illusionists Siegfried & Roy set an unmatched standard in stage extravaganzas and family entertainment, performing for more than 25 million people. They are also known as international leaders in wildlife conservation, with thriving programs spanning three continents - North America, Europe and Africa .
Current president of the Las Vegas Urban Chamber of Commerce, Cornelius Eason is the founder and president of Priority Staffing. He is past president of the Nevada Staffing Association and is its current government affairs chairman.
A former sergeant with the Denver Police Department, Donna Fairchild served as a Mesquite City Councilwoman for six years. Through volunteer work, she continues to be an active member of the Mesquite community.
Robert Gronauer, known in the community as "Bobby G," was first elected to the office of Las Vegas Township Constable in 1999. A veteran of the Vietnam War and Bronze Star with valor recipient, he served the community as a member of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for nearly three decades.
Former Clark County Manager Thom Reilly currently serves as vice president of community reinvestment and social responsibility for gaming giant Harrah's Entertainment. A fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration, he previously headed social services for the State of Nevada, and served as an associate professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
