This wasn't supposed to be voted on until next week. I find it hard to believe all the candidates would have missed this had they known with enough time to make it back. Actually, it's the same reason that Obama missed the Kyl-Lieberman vote.
What the hell is with Reid? Didn't he just go on the record saying he'd make sure all candidates knew well in advance of important votes?
