EDIT: Picture removed due to controversy over whether it is "Photoshopped." It still doesn't change my question. But, because the picture itself is in question, I am removing it.

This hasn't been discussed a lot, but I have a serious question for all DUers. I am torn on this myself and want to know what others think. Obama is a cigarette smoker - never in public - but he's a smoker. I can see that working two ways:

1) Obama is an average guy and smoking proves that he isn't going to change who he is - to please anybody.

2) Obama smokes cigarettes and with what we know about them now - it shows he is stupid.

Trust me, this will become an issue at some time. It's just one of those things. I can see it helping and I can see it hurting. Seriously, what do you think?

And by the way, Obama is my strong #2 candidate. If Biden falters, I'm with Obama. I have no hidden agenda, I honestly want to know what people think as smoking can be a hot-button topic with a lot of people.
