Can someone please point me to the America which would vote for a presidential candidate who admits to having used hard drugs? The America I live in has a huge element of religious zealots, squares, and blue hairs in the population who would never in a million years vote for a candidate who admits to having used hard drugs.

For crying out loud... The right wing attack machine had no qualms about accusing a war hero of fraudulently attaining medals, but more importantly, the accusation, though baseless, gained traction amongst millions of Americans zombified by Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Hannity, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Fox News, etc.. One can imagine what the right wing attack machine would do to Barack Obama if he were the Democratic nominee.
