So here's what we know about Huckabee - he's as fucking crazy as he is fucking stupid. He may be the one candidate besides Fred Thompson who would be worse for America than George W Bush. Why?

First, he's blatantly anti-Constitutional (obviously - he wants to change it). Beyond that he's unAmerican. Screw the Melting Pot. Screw the separation of church and state. Screw the first Amendment. Screw religious tests for elected leaders. If you're not a Christian you are not a real American. Scratch that, if you're not the "right" kind of Christian, you are not a real American.

Second, he's historically incorrect. The Word of God has been changed, altered, mistranslated, misconstrued and misread for centuries. Jesus didn't speak English, a fact only Mel Gibson and a handful of the "smarter" zealots seem to recognize. The New Testament was "edited" as some gospels were edited and deleted, while some were lost. I won't go too deep into this, because it's a big topic on its own, but look up the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Canonization process, the missing gospels of Mark and Mary Magdalene to get a flavor. So what I'm getting at is that it should be crystal clear that Huckabee is the worst possible GOP candidate. He's ideologically more insane than Bush and even less intellectually curious. For all the bitching we all do, myself included, about the other Democratic candidates, they must be supported should they win the nom. I will vote Edwards. I will vote Hillary. I will get my friends out to the polls too. We cannot allow ourselves to suffer through another 4 years with a messianic potato head in the White House.
