is not an apology for her remarks. She needs to express a regret for those words coming out of her mouth. You can't apologize for what someone else thinks.
This is a Bush response - blaming those who are outraged by HER statements. For an analogy. When I complain of or disapprove of the War in Iraq, the Bush folks accuse me of hating the troops. Clinton and her posse are using the same tactic - demonizing those who dare to criticize their hateful words and deeds.
