Their desperation to gain the nomination at any cost bears the markings of a wounded animal. She is splintering the party and could turn a Democratic victory in November from a sure thing into a Democratic rout.

While the early anointing of Kerry in 2004 cost the Democrats a lot of free publicity and public attention, this scorched earth campaign that Clinton is waging is destroying the credibility of the Democratic party. She can no longer win if she is the nominee. Her credibility as a leader is already undone. The continuation of this internecine conflict Clinton is waging is undermining the viability of all Democratic candidates in November.

This nonsense has got to stop soon. If it continues past Pennsylvania, all could be lost. It would be good if it were stopped even before Pennsylvania. Clinton has already lost the support of many Democrats, and lost independents and moderate Republicans. Therefore, she cannot win the general election.
