I see that the talk is all about last night's "debate". What I find most interesting is this: The Clinton supporters are gleeful because the tables were turned and it was Obama's turn in the "woodshed". I saw a comment here last night from a Clinton supporter that talked about the very good answers Hillary gave on the questions of any substance (you know, the last five minutes of the thing). I have to agree, she gave some good answers. I thought Obama did too but I guess I am wierd by DU GDP standards in that I can see good stuff in both Dem candidates.
Anyhow, what I think we should all be agreeing on is the fact that both of our candidates only had the tail end of this thing to get to present their ideas and views on important stuff. ABC set up our candidates to tear each other down and talk about stuff that doesn't matter.
It seems to me this should have been a great opportunity for our candidates to show a different perspective of things to all the world, different than the neo-con all-is-dark-and-scary view, and for the most part it was wasted thanks to the stupid, meaningless questions that were asked for the better part of the "debate".
Yes, once again the corporate media managed to prevent BOTH of our candidates from really shining and showing the world we are the party of GOOD and BENEFICIAL ideas. For this reason alone we DUers should be UNITED against our common enemy, the corporate-ocracy.
