15. McCain will never switch
The wildcard is his Senate election this year. Does he piss off the hard right, or play the maverick card?

Kerry as President would benefit McCain a bit more, IMO, since they are good friends, and it could open up some bipartisan activity in the senate. I doubt he would support Kerry publically. But he could distance himself somewhat from Bush.

Rove must have something on him. Can't really see why he sticks with Bush.
