I became a bit of a Kerry convert at the end of the primaries because he was talking a lot about energy issues in his stump speech.

When I read his list of grab bag policies listed at the link you post, I am left a little unimpressed. It looks like cookies for the the coal and natural gas industries.

If they wanted to be ahead of the curve, they should be talking about apolloalliance and the impending hydrogen economy.

Also, their "proposal" for 20% energy from renewables by 2020 is anemic. Accd to a Fortune magazine article out about a year ago this is going to happen naturally - and so is the hydrogen economy.

In other words, Kerry and Edwards are thinking small.

Yes, they are light years better than the Bush fascist criminal political machine but I have no warm fuzzy here.
