Did anyone see Hardball tonight?

John Hurley from Veterans for Kerry and that idiot John O'Neill were on.

O'Neill spoke non-stop for most of the first part of the show. He spew out ridiculous lies about Kerry, saying that he shouldn't have gotten a medal for saving the Boston Whaler from a VC with an RPG because the VC was "just a kid", that Kerry made up being hit with shrapnel when the medical reports say he was indeed hit, and saying that he was NOT a Republican from Texas and that the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth liked John Kerry but just didn't think he was a hero.

Chris Matthews struck back at O'Neill, asking him "Do you think George Bush was braver?"

O'Neill never answered.

Hurley gave clear evidence that Kerry had earned all his medals and challenged O'Neill to prove him wrong.

O'Neill just lied and said "We interviewed 3 of Kerry's fellow crew members and they agreed with me." But he couldn't name any of them.

Later, while Hurley was speaking, O'Neill said, "I was given enough time to speak."

Matthews slammed him, saying "Do you want me to clock you? I'll tell you how much time you spoke and you got more than enough. That is a conservative tactic."

Chris Matthews did a pretty good job tonight. It was a good show overall.
