Someone pass the kool-aid

For a long time I have stood in the wings watching the primary unfold. My desire has always been to support the eventual Democratic nominee against McCain in the GE, whoever that might be. As this primary has been a close race, there has been a lot of conflict within our own party. Voices of Democrat versus Democrat yell louder here than Democrat versus Republican for obvious reasons. I have not wanted to take sides in this against fellow Democrats.

However, I believe the tide has turned. Continued support of Hillary for the nomination at this point is no longer a democratic endeavor. She has lost and the only way to change that fact would be through unfair means. I have grown tired of waiting for Hillary to step aside. I want to support the Democratic nominee and it seem pretty clear who that will be. I am through waiting. I want to fight McCain and the only way to do that is to support a Democrat.

Pass the Kool-Aid, sign me up.
