I think they realize there are Pub deserters, and they're scared! I do believe there are very few "undecided's" and the Pubs also realize they probably aren't going to get any of them. They're dead in the water if they lose ANY of their current supporters, so they have to play to the choir and do anything they can NOT TO LOSE anybody.
I heard on the news this morning that there are 11 weeks left until the election. That doesn't sound as far away as when somebody says November. It should be an interesting ride.
