These people who slam Kerry's medals slam the medals of everyone of us who was in Nam at one time or another.
The people dont know that getting a medal is not a simple thing. There must be written recommendations by a superior officer and for some of the more important medals, there must be at least one, two or three eyewitnesses to the actions of the recipient. You don't just write a report about yourself and say...."WasntI a brave little soldier? Give me a medal."
