20. Smooth guy? I am just trying to avoid collective embarassment

""Now it turns out, one of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers," Palin said.

"Boooo!" said the crowd.

"And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, 'launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,'" she continued.

"Boooo!" the crowd repeated.

"Kill him!" proposed one man in the audience. "

Thats what we have to go on, as far as I can tell. And there is nothing there as far as I can tell that indicates that this was aimed at Obama.

As for your question: No, I don't think its ok. I think its ugly and reprehensible.

Everyone was rightfully angry at the feigned indignation the McCain campaign was putting out over the lipstick comment. "They threatened to kill Obama" when as far as the story supports it right now, it has no legs to stand on, is not much better.

I say go after the terrorist comment at the McCain rally. There you can hit McCains honor and morals, much harder.
