or statements from TEEVEE where Gupta hocks the corporate line, sells nothing but AMA and Big Pharma POV, blatantly advertises for Merck, Pozen, Smith-Kline, et al; ad nauseum; and superficially pursues his own glorification and fame.

I've already posted many of these. I won't do it again. It serves no point.

There are people who think he is a good pick. I agree with them, if all you want is a mouthpiece to sell something to the American People, who know no better than to believe everything they hear on teevee and haven't the initiative to take charge of their own health or make their own decisions.

There are people who think he is a disappointing pick. And I agree with them, as well.

There probably isn't a place in the middle to meet. We'll see how it goes, but the back and forth and repetitive posting like this really isn't going to change anyone's mind.
