10. I sereiously doubt that trainees would be awarded for things in

their training units. The actual full-time members of the unit are the ones being recognized for their work, not the people being processed through during training. Certainly doesn't make any sense why they would. I received a Meritorious Unit Citation in the Marines, and the only people allowed to wear it were the ones in that unit during the times specified on the citation. I have heard all kinds of excuses by the Bush side on this, but Walt nailed it, he simply was never in a unit when they were awarded this.
