who has served in the Armed Forces by reading these posts... ribbons are for sale on the base and outside the base at tailor shops; like most idiots he bought one and wore it for his photo so it would look better, but because he is an idiot, all these years later, here he in a photo wearing a ribbon he wasn't qualified to wear. The point I'm making is that lots of guys did it, he just happened to get caught. Let's concentrate on the unelected president who started an illegal war, and the troops... a thousand killed and the over seven thousand wounded in Iraq -- to hell with a ribbon from three decades ago.
