35. kick!!
Damn straight, Mr. Starr!

Time for Dems to give 'em hell on a single issue where ya got 'em by the short hairs.
Enough of this messing around, flitting from issue to ussue. As a sometime lurker, I must say
Walt Starr has been commendably dogged on this.

This 30 year old "nonsesnse" hits home for alot of people, including Vets whose kids are now fighting and dying in Iraq. They are waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well, it looks like Walt's opened up a whole closet.

Are folks here tough enough to march confidently thru the various smokescreens and domestic issues to rabidly pursue an issue of character, an issue which does more to the dignity of the Office of Presidency and the honor of our National Guard, than any 30 year old controversy about Swift Vets could possibly achieve.

This is about a president TODAY lying about medals HE NEVER RECEIVED --

in a unit, 3724th, where he NEVER DID ACTIVE DUTY AS A TRAINED PILOT --

while he trashes the service of others who served, and makes light of the sacrifice of numerous National Guardsmen and women in Iraq.

A president who relies on MERCENARIES to protect him in the combat zone while he sends decorated soldiers and MPs essentially conscripted by a back-door draft, Guardsmen and women who EARNED their unit citations, into combat situations dangerously unprepared with no hope of honor or recompense, and allows his fellow Guardsmen and reservists to take the fall for the disaster at Abu Ghraib.

America likes a candidate who fights back and alot of Vets would
appreciate seeing a good comeuppance.
The Question about Bush's records is no longer a question, folks.

BUSH IS LYING ABOUT A MEDAL HE NEVER RECEIVED!

WH ADMITS HE WORE IT IN THE 3724th -- AND CONTINUED WEARING IT AFTER BECOMING AN OFFICER!

This is Dishonorable Conduct, folks.

The issue is NOT Bush "hiding out" in the Guard. BUSH DISHONORED THE
NATIONAL GUARD by disrespecting his superiors and the ribbons he wore.

HE WORE A MEDAL IN THE 3724th HE DID NOT RATE -- AND CONTINUED WEARING IT AFTER BECOMING AN OFFICER -- IN AN EFFORT TO SUGAR-COAT his own disgraceful lack of conduct while serving in the Guard.

BUSH SAW HIS GUARD SERVICE AS JUST ANOTHER EASY OUT IN A LIFETIME OF EASY OUTS. Now, he's sending his fellow Guardsmen to die in Iraq when
they should be protecting ALL Americans from terrorist violence here at home.

Now we learn Bush has consigned More Guardsmen to death in one year in Iraq, than died in the ENTIRE Vietnam War while Bush continues playing dress-up.

It's time for Americans to rise up with one voice on this issue and defend the integrity of the medals which our Guardsmen are currently receiving for combat duty, even as we speak!

Your President claims cerdit for an AFOUA his training unit received. He's been wearing it ever since -- while Republicans spitting on the combat medals legitemately worn by others, including war veterans who dare to speak up against the President!

This is todays issue, and the President has been caught lying about a medal HE STILL CLAIMS CREDIT FOR! A medal HE STILL SAYS HE recieved while training to be a fighter pilot in the 3724th Training Squadron of the Texas Air National Guard!!

Be sure and blast this thread to CBS, folks. This is no johnny come-
lately spin to the BushDocs controversy. Walt's been working on this
for WEEKS after stumbling upon this story as a private citizen! :-)

This is how ya gotta talk about this issue, folks. In STRONG terms!
CBS makes it relevant to media! After that, not so relevant. Night!
