Recently someone got pissed off at me for saying DU'ers get so offended when we point out Kerry's misgivings because I wrote that it is similar to killing the messenger when he tells the emperor is not wearing clothes (some how the pissed off DU'er thought I was comparing Kerry to Bush when I wasn't - I was just pointing out how we attack those who point out our faults).

Some DU'ers are like, "Hey, don't tell me that mole on my back is cancerous dammit!! I don't want to know!!", and then let the damn thing kill them.

Maher is right sometimes. Hell, the guy kicks Bush in the balls 90 percent of the time for crying out loud and if he passes a few kicks to Kerry's ass to get him in line, if it helps, so be it!

And don't most people believe that it IS the candidate who makes or breaks his or her own campaign?

As for Kerry's tan - come on - it is important - and they should KNOW this! DU'ers must start looking at things realistically. Visual media is so important in races. Our true domain is that of print - thought, long drawn out reasoning, complexity. The repugs excel in imagery and explosive bullshit. We MUST realize this. There is nothing wrong with recognizing weakness - it's the first step to getting stronger.
