The US isn't led by that semi-literate oil spiv, he just reads the scripts they hand him, pausing over the "big" words with furrowed brow. Corporate power is the essence of the problems we face today. Unaccountable and driven by the profit imperative. Profit is paramount so everything else gets relegated to the sidelines.
