This was a woman who in essence broke a state law in order to establish constitutional protections for women -- doesn't sound like someone who would easily be intimidated. Not to mention, since the anti-choice crowd is definitely in the minority, if she were pressured into it there would be much less pressure now and she would naturally switch back.

IIRC, she found religion and changed her stance all on her own. I have no doubt that her role in the past directly contributes to any virulence on her part now.
