John Waters, Shock Film Maker, Seeks Harris for Remake of Camille

Balto, MD. Avant garde film maker John Waters is seeking Katherine Harris to play the lead in his remake of Camille, the classic story and novel by Dumas. He said, "Katherine is perfect for the lead, courtesan Marguerite Gautier. I'm holding of production until she's available." The role was originally played by Greta Garbo with her lover, Armand, played by Robert Taylor. Waters hasn't settled on the Armand character but is rumored to be in talks with Alec Baldwin and Ice T. ###
