5. I think as soon as the reality sets in for millions of women, just how hostile
mcsame is to women's priorities - including health care, education, child safety, and choice - there won't be a "can Obama attract suburban women" or ANY OTHER group of women, for that matter. Especially when it's a woman looking into the camera, and addressing mcsame directly, serving him notice that he cannot have her baby boy for his 100-year war in Iraq.

And if that doesn't get 'em, I'd also say the "let's attack Michelle" campaign will be a real turn-off. Women rallied to Hillary Clinton when they felt she was under fire, unfairly dealt with by the media, and written off as early as Iowa Caucus night. I'd guess women will become offended about the treatment of Michelle Obama, too. Which won't help mcsame AT ALL. (GOOD!) I think those 527 groups and other once-removed political hit squads that are planning to go after Michelle Obama may be in for something of a surprise. Their actions may actually help tip the balance for Barack. HOW ON EARTH could one even consider taking the proverbial hatchet to a candidate's wife (and a popular one at that) without the risk of seriously alienating a huge chunk of women voters??? What are they thinking???
