69. Question about uncovering the DD214
I was just talking to my husband about this -- he's a Vietnam-era Navy vet. Like everybody else here, he says he knows where his DD214 is, and thinks anybody would know where theirs was, too.

Given the benefits veterans of that era were entitled to, and the fact that the DD214 was required in order to get them, wouldn't even a wealthy person have taken advantage of this -- say, for example, in applying to Harvard Business School, for tuition reimbursement? Or getting a business loan? Or getting a mortgage? Why leave money you're entitled to on the table?

If so, there are copies out there, in dusty files of the school or the bank... I don't know how they'd be uncovered, but hubby suggests if somebody like George Soros offered a million bucks for a copy, clerks everywhere would start searching the files!

What do you think?
