The DU Homepage: A Great Source for News (Often, before anyone else!)

I know many of you skip right past the DU homepage, but I want to put in a plug and encourage you to check it every once in a while.

We get hundreds and hundreds of new threads posted on DU every day. Some are great, some are not so great. And some are the best of the best.

Every day, we put up the most important and interesting stuff on our homepage -- and we often update it many times each day.

This swift boat smear is a great example. Over the last few days, we've collected all the major information about the swift boat story on our homepage. We often have more info than the mainstream news and the major liberal blogs. In fact, there are stories posted on our homepage *right now* that have not even made it to the mainstream news outlets yet, and might not ever get reported by the mainstream news.
