New SBVT Line of Attack: John Kerry's Pet Dog

Since their attacks on Kerry's first Purple Heart, third Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star and Cambodian excursion have all been summarily debunked, and their leaders John O'Neill and Larry Thurlow humiliated and proven as liars on national television, the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth have been forced to open up a new line of attack: against Kerry's pet dog.

The story begins when John Kerry and the other members of his swift boat bought a small pet dog off Vietnamese villagers. They named it Victoria Charlotte - or "VC" for short - and they adopted the pup as a full member of their crew. The dog even saw combat, when she was thrown from the swift boat following a mine explosion.

Now the Swift Boat Veterans are charging that:

(a) The dog never actually existed, contrary to photo evidence which proves that it did. It was a figment of Kerry's imagination.

and/or

(b) The dog was never actually thrown from the boat. It's yet another part of John Kerry's sinister "master plan" designed to make a name for himself in politics. Yow know...get wounded three times in battle, get an early exit, yadda yadda. The rightwingers postulate that the dog story was hatched by Kerry in the jungles of Vietnam in 1968 as a way to pull in the Humane Society/ASPCA votes when he ran for president thirty years later.


So there you have it. Nearly 1,000 dead Americans in Iraq, a failed war on terror, the economy at rock botom, factories are shutting down, farms are closing up, 3,000,000+ Americans have lost their jobs, the public school system is in ruins, gas prices are sky high -- and the Republicans decide to focus their attention instead on a small dog


Pathetic. Just pathetic. The "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" are becoming the laughingstock of America.
