59. Don't listen to Imus
but I have heard, over the past week, and read the same thing coming from more than a few persons who are for Kerry. It doesn't seem as if Kerry is getting the message, either. Edwards made a speech that was tepid, and we hear little from Kerry, or his campaign over the lies--good grief--he has got to get mad about it and risk letting th epeople know how justified his anger is. The pact with McCain was a huge mistake. People are risking their reputations, their careers, and whatever else to support Kerry in activist movements and other things. If he does not stand up for them, and continues on this bland approach to sticking to the issues, people will not feel comforted that their efforts are worth it. I mean that. It is not allup to us to defend Kerry's military committment while he lays back and seems less perturbed than we-indeed even makes a deal appearing to back off, while Bush did not---it is up to Kerry to come out smashing these lies loudly.
