70. I think she did herself a favor
Not McCain necessarily, but she looked much more approachable than in the past.

Yes, the show (especially Amy Poehler's rap) was anti-McCain, but Palin herself was a good actress and a good sport. Anyone who listened to the words of the skits and of the rap song would think "snap! they did NOT just say that," but as we all know to our sorrow, words in politics don't matter as much as the way you say them. And she looked good. She did. If she were someone I liked, I would have said she rocked. But even though I don't like her, I have to say that she did very well and scored a lot of likeability points.

I doubt that, at this stage of the campaign, it'll make any difference--it's sort of like her debate performance. She had to not suck, and she did not suck. In fact, she did a lot better than I expected. She did nothing substantive other than look human... but she looked human. And from where I'm sitting, that was an improvement upon the impression I had yesterday. In fact, after about a trillion zillion appearances like this one, I might even consider liking her.
