Did you know that Kerry used to own a Bakery?

Before he ran for Lt Gov he started owned and managed a small bakery in Mass. I did not know that!

I just heard him discussing this live on MPR in his appearance here in Rochester MN when the question asked by an audience member was from a local bakery owner (and a damn fine bakery I might add).

He discussed, in context, the understanding he thus derived of meeting regulations, hiring and firing, staffing, supplying, etc. He sold the bakery, but noted it is still in business.

OK, note the differences right in this example.

1. Kerry takes questions live and unscripted - Bush cannot or will not.

2. Kerry managed to start his own business, run it, and keep it running. Which presidential candidate has the MBA?

3. Kerry has real life experience he brings to the job. He can discuss with clarity the applications of business and government interaction. He can do so from the standpoint of success. Being drunk and high, and a failure who is bailed out by family and friends until you are 50 is not credible real life experience.
