a high approval rating where you could get something done than a low approval rating and get nothing done. If there is anyhting that the President is trying to do that you are happy with I would be thrilled with this number because it means that he will be able to get it done. The lower the approval the harder it is to get things done. Also if you don't care about his approval rating you can always hide a thread.
