but how does obligating our population for billions of dollars that go out of the state to NYC underwriters in interest for mine and your lifetimes when we could have raised the sales tax 1/2 % and saved hundreds of millions in interest paid out over 35 years square with the fiscal responsibility angle? The same underwriters who underwrote Enron? Who threw a "fundraiser" for Arnie, 10,000 bucks a plate , in NYC , no Californians allowed? Call me sarcastic, but I don't get a lot of warm fuzzies from your apocryphal tale.
