8. Check out Dover Saddlery & State Line Tack online.
If all works out for Saturday, I'll bring some of the recent catalogs for you. :hi:
Troxel makes excellent schooling helmets. I have a schooling helmet and a velvet show helemt too! I buy inexpensive polo shirts to wear for lessons. You can get them on sale at discount stores like K-Mart. Sometimes, the boys and girls and juniors sections have them on sale (they are part of the school uniforms display.)

You can try on paddock boots and breeches in shops and then order online for a better price. You'll want regular seat breedches for English and full seat for dressage.

You can get half chaps to go with paddock boots for a full boot effect with out the cost. I just ordered a new pair of Ariat paddock boots online from Dover. They were listed at $180 and I got them for $99. I waited until that particular boot was on close out. The Ariat half chaps come in different styles and colors to match different boots. Some are made to look like a tall boot with a Spanish cut top and swagger tab. They are very correct and easy to get on and off (no boot jacks). The less formal type are quite appropraite for lessons.
I have full chaps too (wear with jeans) but boots and chaps or tall boots are better for lessons. I can't wear just paddock boots and jodphurs or breeches because I get stirrup leather rubs. Ouch!
